Injuries Sustained in Berkeley Multi-Vehicle Accident

BERKELEY, CA (December 10, 2018) – Injuries were reported following a multi-vehicle accident on December 7 that closed the lanes on 80 Freeway and led to snarled traffic.

It was around 11:00 a.m. when the CHP officers came to respond to an accident involving six vehicles, including a semi-truck, on westbound 80 Freeway east of Ashby Avenue in Berkeley

As a result of the crash, injuries were sustained. According to reports, the authorities shut down all westbound lanes to give way for the tow trucks and emergency response vehicles to enter the area.

At 12:00 n.n., the closed lanes were reopened but the authorities advised motorists to take alternate routes due to back-ups.
