Injuries Sustained in Gold Bar Auto Accident on US 2 and Reiter Road
GOLD BAR, WA (July 25, 2024) – Wednesday afternoon, a startling traffic crash on US 2 and Reiter Road led to minor injuries.
The incident happened just after 12:45 p.m. which shut down both directions of US 2, east of Gold Bar.
Meanwhile, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Reiter Road was closed.
The accident led to minor injuries, per the Washington State Patrol. Tow trucks were called to clear the highway.
By 1:30 p.m., traffic had backed up about half a mile and continued to grow, according to the state Department of Transportation. By 2:35 p.m., the department confirmed that the crash had been cleared and the lanes were reopened.
