3 People Trapped after Tye Auto Accident near North FM 707

 
TYE, TX (March 6, 2023) – Friday night, a rollover crash near North FM 708 led to injuries.
 
The incident happened at about 10:15 p.m. near North FM 708, near the Flying J Travel Center.
 
When the authorities arrived, they located a black pickup overturned.
 
Reports said that the truck rolled over multiple times after crashing with a guardrail at a high speed.
 
Then, crews located one adult man and two juvenile passengers trapped in the wreckage.
 
Thus, crews freed the occupants and took them to a hospital for severe injuries.
 
Also, officers confirmed that charges are pending against the driver for a Felony DWI with a child passenger and two counts of Felony Intoxication Assault with serious bodily injury resulting from injuries sustained by the juvenile passengers.
 
Due to the driver’s injuries, authorities haven’t arrested him at this time. His identity remained undisclosed at this time.
 
Meanwhile, a first responder said that a dog rode in the vehicle at the time of the crash and went missing. Chief of Police Christopher Selander confirmed that the dog was found and was transported to an emergency vet.
