CHP Investigates a Four-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 8 near Hotel Circle in San Diego

San Diego, CA (September 9, 2021) – Thursday morning, multiple people were taken to hospitals after a four-vehicle crash on Interstate 8.

The crash happened on September 9 near Hotel Circle.

Reportedly, there was a fatal auto-pedestrian incident that occurred on Interstate 8 west of Hotel Circle, and while authorities were investigating the situation, the multi-vehicle crash was reported in the east of the first incident.

CHP said the crash involved four vehicles including a motorcycle, and callers reported the rider sustained injuries.
