Chase Ends with Roseville Accident on Parkside Way and Woodcreek Oaks Boulevard
ROSEVILLE, CA (February 14, 2022) – Sunday morning, a multi-vehicle crash on Parkside Way and Woodcreek Oaks Boulevard led to injuries.
At around midnight, one of their officers patrolled through Parkside Way and Woodcreek Oaks Boulevard. Then, they noticed someone breaking into a parked vehicle. Afterward, the officer approached the vehicle. Then, the person ran into a car joining two other people inside and the car attempted to speed away.
Eventually, the officers started a chase and a CHP helicopter started the pursuit continuing to track the car.
However, the car continued through Roseville before failing to yield at a red light on Riverside Avenue and Cirby Way. Then, it crashed into two other vehicles.
According to reports, one of the occupants in the fleeing vehicle sustained serious injuries in the crash. Then, responders took that person to the hospital.
Meanwhile, the other two boys inside the vehicle were transported to Juvenile Hall after being cleared by the hospital for injuries.
Also, responders took another person in one of the vehicles hit by the fleeing car to the hospital with minor injuries.
After searching the chase vehicle, they located two loaded unregistered ghost pistols and stolen items.
The man and two boys face several charges such as evasion from police officers, possession of an unregistered firearm, child endangerment, vandalism, and auto burglary.
