Napa County Auto Accident on Interstate 80 and Flosden Road
NAPA COUNTY, CA (March 17, 2022) – Wednesday afternoon, a semi-truck crash on Interstate 80 and Flosden Road led to injuries.
The crash happened at around 3:30 p.m. on the east of Flosden Road, west of Interstate 80. According to reports, a trailer and a semi-truck crashed which blocked American Canyon Road. Reports said that a trailer detached from a semi and its driver left it behind, unaware of the incident.
Then, an oncoming car hit the detached trailer, leaving the driver with minor injuries. Eventually, the truck driver came back when he realized that he lost the trailer. Meanwhile, the authorities do not treat the incident as a hit-and-run.
Furthermore, the Napa County Sheriff’s Office shut down American Canyon Road in a Nixle alert at around 4:25 p.m.
At around 5:47 p.m., the road reopened.
