CAJON PASS, CA (December 18, 2022) – Saturday afternoon, a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 and Highway 138 led to injuries.
 
The incident occurred at around 1:07 p.m. on southbound Interstate 15 just before the Highway 138 exit
 
According to reports, the crash involved a gray/silver Honda Civic sedan, a black Ford F-150 pickup truck, and an unknown vehicle.
 
When firefighters arrived, they found the Ford pickup truck with heavy front-end damage, blocking the #1 lane.
 
Also, rescue crews called for two ambulances. Then, the ambulances transported two patients to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.
 
Moreover, other people sustained minor injuries.
 
Meanwhile, after around an hour and a half, the lanes reopened. Also, the crash caused a traffic backup to Ranchero Road at one point.
 
Due to the limited information available, the California Highway Patrol Inland Office handles the crash investigation.
