Injuries Sustained in Lake Elsinore Auto Accident on Grand Avenue and Jamieson Way

 
LAKE ELSINORE, CA (January 8, 2022) – On Wednesday, authorities reported injuries following a hit-and-run crash on Grand Avenue and Jamieson Way.
 
According to authorities, the incident happened at around 9:20 p.m. Moreover, it occurred near the intersection of Grand Avenue and Jamieson Way, just east of the Riverside Drive/Hwy 74 bend.
 
Reports revealed that a white Dodge Ram pickup truck traveled in the wrong direction. Then, it swerved back to its lane and struck a white Toyota Sienna minivan. The force of the crash pushed both vehicles to hit separate poles outside a business. Afterward, two men fled the scene after the crash.
 
Moreover, responders rushed to the scene and extricated two people trapped inside the overturned minivan. Then, paramedics transported one patient to a trauma center via helicopter. Also, they transported another to a hospital in a ground ambulance.
 
Furthermore, officials asked anyone with information about the crash to contact the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station at (951) 245-3300.
 
Meanwhile, the incident remains under investigation.
