Injuries Reported in Brookhurst Street Fatal Crash [Huntington Beach, CA]

Huntington Beach, CA (May 27, 2022) On Thursday, a person died and another was injured in a fatal crash on Brookhurst Street.

Reports say the fatal collision happened at around 8:10 p.m. between Hamilton Avenue and Bushard Street, near the Santa Ana River.

According to the Huntington Beach Police Department (BDPD), the vehicle was initially pursued by the Fountain Valley Police Department. However, FVPD terminated the chase before the crash. Moreover, BDPD says thatno one was chasing the vehicle when the accident occurred.

Furthermore, the HBPD pronounced da person dead at the scene, and paramedics transported another patient to the hospital.

Authorities closed Brookhurst Street between Hamilton Avenue and Bushard Street during the investigation.

Additionally, officials have not released further information regarding the incident at this time.
