Injuries Reported in 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101 [Orcutt, CA]

Orcutt, CA (August 12, 2021) On Thursday, injuries were reported in a 2-vehicle crash on the northbound lanes of Highway 101.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) says the crash happened around 5:38 a.m.

Additionally, the CHP confirms that it was a head-on crash between a semi-truck and an SUV.

Meanwhile, the northbound 101 off-ramps at Santa Maria Way were closed as cleaning crews clear the freeway.

Although traffic did not slow down, the freeway was reopened around 6:20 a.m.
