Volvo Driver Injured in Traffic Crash on I-805
National City, CA (October 25, 2022) On Sunday morning, a 2-vehicle collision on southbound Interstate 805 caused injuries to 2 motorists.
CHP says that the traffic crash happened at around 10:29 a.m. at the Plaza Boulevard on-ramp.
Reports say that a red Volvo was attempting to merge into traffic lanes when a male Honda driver did not allow it to happen. Consequently, the Honda clipped the Volvo, causing the Volvo driver to lose control. The red vehicle went off of the roadway and up the embankment.
Moreover, the Volvo rolled multiple times. Eventually landing on top of the Honda, after coming back down onto the freeway.
Officials say that the Volvo driver suffered injuries, while paramedics transported the Honda driver to a hospital.
Authorities are investigating the 2-vehicle collision and have not released additional information at this time.
