DUI Driver Involved in Injury Collision near Highway 56
SAN DIEGO, CA (November 18, 2018) – Injuries were reported in two separate accidents on 15 Freeway, early Sunday morning. The names and place of residence of the victims have not been disclosed to the public.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 2:53 AM in the northbound lanes, just south of Highway 56. Based on their reports, both incidents involved two vehicles. Officers stated that the first crash was caused by a DUI driver.
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. They recorded injuries sustained in the DUI accident. Fortunately, all conditions were said to be minor.
Following the collision, the surrounding area was blocked off for cleanup and preliminary investigation. No further information regarding the crash, or the current medical conditions of the victim’s have been released at this time.
