ANTIOCH, CA (March 3, 2022) – Tuesday morning, a police pursuit crash on Laurel Road and Hillcrest Avenue led to injuries.
 
According to authorities, the incident started when officers took pursuit of a suspected carjacked vehicle.
 
Reports revealed that the suspect vehicle, a Toyota, collided with a northbound black car.
 
Moreover, firefighters rushed to the scene and extricated the suspect out of the carjacked vehicle. Then, animal control also responded to the scene to extricate a pet pitbull inside the Toyota.
