Lanes Blocked in Lake County Auto Accident on Highway 20 near Lodge at Blue Lakes

LAKE COUNTY, CA (March 4, 2024) – Sunday afternoon, a startling vehicle crash on Highway 20 near Lodge at Blue Lakes led to injuries.

The incident happened at around 1:00 p.m. on Highway 20, 1/2 mile West of Lodge at Blue Lakes.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a black GMC pickup and a red Toyota Corolla collided in the area for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, officers confirmed that injuries were sustained in the collision.

Furthermore, the crash closed multiple lanes of Highway 20 but has long since reopened.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
