Lanes Blocked in Santa Clarita Auto Accident on Highway 14 and Golden Valley Road

SANTA CLARITA, CA (April 14, 2024) – Saturday morning, a startling rollover crash on Highway 14 and Golden Valley Road led to injuries.

The incident happened at around 12:04 a.m. on northbound Highway 14 at Golden Valley Road.

According to Officer Michael Nasir with the CHP Traffic Management Center, a burgundy Hyundai sedan and an older model of a Toyota Camry collided in the area for still unknown reasons. Then, one of the vehicles overturned during the crash.

Moreover, firefighters rushed to the scene and extricated the female driver of the Hyundai who was trapped inside the vehicle. Also, authorities confirmed that minor injuries were sustained in the crash.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
