Injuries Sustained in Edinburg Auto Accident on Texas Road and Curve Road

EDINBURG, TX (September 1, 2024) – Friday, a startling pursuit crash on Texas Road and Curve Road led to injuries.

The incident occurred on Texas Road and Curve Road in Edinburg.

DPS spokesperson Lt. Christopher Olivarez reported that a trooper was chasing a suspect when the suspect collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Texas Road and Curve Road in Edinburg. 

The second vehicle, which had two adults and two children inside, was taken to a nearby hospital, though their current condition remains unknown. The suspect was thrown from their vehicle and subsequently fled the scene on foot, according to Olivarez. 

DPS is actively searching for the suspect, whose identity remains unknown, and the reason for their refusal to stop is still unclear.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
