Officer Injured in Fresno DUI Accident on McKinley Avenue and Fresno Street
FRESNO, CA (June 6, 2023) – Monday night, authorities reported injuries after a startling DUI crash on McKinley Avenue and Fresno Street.
The incident started when the Fresno Police Department initiated a police chase against a vehicle.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a CHP officer stopped at an intersection, drove forward, and collided with an alleged DUI driver.
Moreover, responders transported the officer to Community Regional Medical Center for evaluation.
Furthermore, officers cited the vehicle driver for a suspended license and for driving under the influence.
