Lanes Blocked in Brea Traffic Accident on 57 Freeway and Yorba Linda Boulevard
BREA, CA (March 26, 2024) – Monday morning, a startling big rig crash on 57 Freeway and Yorba Linda Boulevard led to injuries.
The incident happened at around 8:00 a.m. on the southbound 57 Freeway at Yorba Linda Boulevard.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a big rig lost control, crashed, rolled over, and collided with several vehicles for still unknown reasons. Also, the big rig erupted into flames after the incident.
Moreover, responders confirmed that injuries were sustained in the crash.
Furthermore, the crash closed the SB 57 Freeway.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
