OAKLAND, CA (December 8, 2023) – Thursday afternoon, authorities reported injuries after a fiery police chase crash on 7th Street and West Grand Avenue.

The incident started at around 2:00 p.m. when authorities responded to a robbery on the 900 block of Grant Street.

According to reports, officers managed to locate the suspect vehicle and attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but to no avail. Then, authorities started to chase the suspect vehicle onto the Bay Bridge and into Oakland when it ended after the suspect vehicle was involved in a collision on 7th Street and West Grand Avenue.

Moreover, officers confirmed that injuries were sustained in the collision. Also, authorities arrested the occupants of the suspect vehicle for the active investigation of the robbery.
