No Fatalities in Lynwood Multi-Vehicle Accident on EB 105 and Atlantic Avenue
LYNWOOD, CA (June 8, 2023) – Wednesday morning, a fiery multi-vehicle wreck on EB 105 and Atlantic Avenue led to injuries.
The authorities received a report of a stalled vehicle in the number 2 lane with its hazards just before 3:30 a.m.
Eventually, it was hit by another vehicle and caught fire on EB 105 and Atlantic Avenue.
Some witnesses confirmed that another vehicle crashed into the blacked-out already crashed vehicles.
When the authorities arrived, they located several vehicles across the lanes. Also, one vehicle was completely engulfed by fire.
Moreover, one of the victims was found laying on the side of the road. Then, responders took the person to the hospital for unknown injuries.
Meanwhile, witnesses confirmed that the driver of the burning vehicle managed to exit the wreckage. Then, the driver fled off to the side of the freeway.
Moreover, the CHP temporarily closed EB 105 to clear the debris.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
