STOCKTON, CA (April 18, 2024) – Wednesday morning, a disastrous vehicle crash on West Lane and Alpine Avenue led to injuries.

The incident happened on West Lane and Alpine Avenue.

According to reports, a northbound fire engine crashed with a red sedan in the middle of the intersection for still unknown reasons. Then, the fire engine went over the median, collided with a pickup truck, and crashed into a home.

Moreover, responders transported the driver of the two vehicles to a hospital with unknown injuries. Then, paramedics transported the driver of the fire engine to a hospital with critical injuries. Also, officers confirmed that other involved parties sustained minor injuries and four firefighters sustained unknown injuries in the incident.

Furthermore, the crash closed the intersection but has long since reopened.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
