WASKOM, TX (September 30, 2024) – Sunday morning, a disastrous vehicle crash on Interstate 20 near Texas and Louisiana border led to injuries.

The incident happened at around 2:45 a.m. on Interstate 20 near the border of Texas and Louisiana.

According to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department, the incident involved the San Diego firefighters who were driving to the East Coast to help with Hurricane Helene relief efforts.

Responders transported three members of a California fire and rescue team to a hospital with unknown injuries.
