Startling Bear Valley ATV Accident on State Route 4 near Big Meadow Campground
BEAR VALLEY, CA (August 12, 2024) – Sunday afternoon, a disastrous ATV crash on State Route 4 near Big Meadow Campground led to injuries.
The incident occurred at around 3:00 p.m. on an unnamed road off State Route 4, with reports indicating that two individuals were involved in the crash.
Then, responders from CAL FIRE and local law enforcement were dispatched to the scene. According to initial reports, one of the individuals involved sustained lacerations, while the other reportedly declined further medical treatment.
Due to the remote location and poor radio and cell reception, communication with responders was limited. Tow services were requested to assist with an SUV involved in the incident.
