1 Person Hospitalized after El Centro Auto Accident on 4th Street and Main Street

 
EL CENTRO, CA (March 6, 2023) – Saturday afternoon, a hit-and-run crash on 4th Street and Main Street led to injuries.
 
The incident happened at about 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of 4th Street and Main Street in El Centro.
 
A Scion FR-S crashed with a Buick. Then, the driver and two passengers in the Scion escaped the scene of the accident.
 
Officers confirmed that they headed on foot running away.
 
Meanwhile, responders transported the driver of the other car to El Centro Regional Medical Center.
 
Also, investigating officers are currently reviewing surveillance videos of the accident.
 
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
