Lanes Blocked in Houston Auto Accident on Hardy Toll Road near Airtex Drive

HOUSTON, TX (September 16, 2024) – Sunday morning, an alarming multi-vehicle crash on Hardy Toll Road near Airtex Drive led to injuries.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 11:20 a.m. in the 18100 block of the Hardy Toll Road near Airtex Drive.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, a crash was caused by a large group of motorcyclists who were traveling at a high rate of speed and were suspected of taking over the roadway. 

Then, an off-duty deputy who was traveling on the same road attempted to swerve to avoid the crash but collided with a wall. Also, the crash involved one of the motorcyclists and a civilian driver.

Moreover, responders transported all injured parties to a hospital for treatment.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office continued investigating the crash.
