Lanes Blocked in Santa Maria Auto Accident on Highway 101 near Nipomo
SANTA MARIA, CA (December 8, 2023) – Thursday afternoon, a disastrous semi-truck crash on Highway 101 near Nipomo led to injuries.
The incident happened at around 1:16 p.m. on Highway 101 near Nipomo.
According to CALTRANS, a Toyota sedan collided with a semi-truck on the Santa Maria River Bridge for still unknown reasons.
Moreover, officers confirmed that injuries were sustained in the incident.
Furthermore, the crash blocked both the No. 1 and No. 3 northbound lanes due to debris from the collision.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
