AUBURN, CA (December 10, 2024) – Monday morning, a disastrous two-vehicle crash on Interstate 80 led to injuries.

The incident happened at around 11:34 a.m. on Interstate 80 near Ophir Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle and a big rig collided in the area for unknown reasons. 

Moreover, authorities confirmed minor to moderate injuries were sustained in the incident.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
