Two Separate Collisions Occur near Laurel Road

 
ANTIOCH, CA (March 4, 2019) – Injuries and damage were sustained in accidents on eastbound Highway 4, early Monday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 12:48 AM, just east of Laurel Road. Based on an initial report, two unidentified vehicles were involved in the first incident, and another two in the second case.
 
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. They confirmed that injuries were sustained by the people involved in the first accident. Fortunately, all conditions were said to be minor.
 
The amount of damage sustained by the vehicles was still being assessed. All lanes were blocked while a clearing operation was conducted in the area.
 
Additional information will be released once it becomes available, as the cause of the accident still remains under investigation at this time.
