PHOENIX, AZ (October 17, 2023) – Monday night, a crippling vehicle crash on 40th Street near Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway led to injuries.

The incident happened at around 7:00 p.m. on 40th Street just south of the Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway.

According to the Phoenix Police, the incident involved at least four people.

Moreover, responders transported a 4-year-old man and a woman in her 20s to a hospital in critical condition. Then, paramedics transported a teen with critical injuries and a woman in her 30s in stable condition to a hospital for treatment.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
