CLOVIS, CA (June 21, 2022) – Monday afternoon, a pursuit crash near Peach Avenue and Sierra Avenue led to injuries.
 
The incident began at about 3:41 p.m. on Peach Avenue and Herndon Avenue. According to reports, officers tried to stop someone over in a stolen vehicle. However, the driver didn’t stop and caused a short chase. Eventually, the suspect crashed with another driver on Sierra Avenue.
 
After the crash, the suspect received treatment from medical responders. The authorities booked him into the Fresno County Jail for being in possession of a stolen vehicle, failing to yield, and possibly more charges.
 
Meanwhile, the other driver received treatment from EMS. Their condition and identity remain unknown at this time.
 
Furthermore, the crash partially shut down Peach and Sierra as crews cleaned up the area.
