Interstate 90 Crash Resulted in Injuries

Easton, WA (October 22, 2021) – On Tuesday, a person suffered injuries in a crash involving an ambulance on Interstate 90

The accident took place about four miles west of Easton.

Officers said a semi-truck with a cargo load weighing 62,000 pounds hit a jersey barrier.

Due to the crash, the semi-truck was sent into the eastbound lanes.

Then, three eastbound vehicles careened into the big rig.

Reports said one of those vehicles involved in the accident was a Kittitas County ambulance.

Fortunately, no patients were inside the vehicle at the time of the accident.

Only one person incurred minor injuries in the crash.

Meanwhile, the officers are still investigating the incident.

The perverse actions of a reckless driver can increase the likelihood of traffic collisions. If you are a driver, pay close attention to those around you. Always keep a considerable distance from others just in case harm is near.

What Do We Need To Do in a Crash?

While driving is essential for many in order to move about in their lives, it is one of the most dangerous activities we do every day. As common of an occurrence as they are, many people do not suspect what follows in the event of a car crash.

Furthermore, according to the United States Department of Transportation, there are approximately 300,000 merging accidents every year.

So, it is crucial that everyone remain calm in order to properly handle the immediate aftermath of an automobile collision.

Also, here are some of the things that we can do to practice defensive driving:

– Always drive at a controllable speed.

– Never assume you know the other driver’s intention.

– Also, be prepared to positively react to other drivers.

– This one, we should never neglect: yield at intersections, even if you have right of way.

– Most importantly, stay focused on the road. Remove all distractions such as mobile phones unstrapped toddlers, etc.
