Drivers Hospitalized after San Bernardino Auto Accident on Interstate 215 and 210 Freeway
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (September 22, 2022) – Tuesday morning, a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 215 and 210 Freeway led to injuries.
The incident occurred at around 8:09 a.m. on Interstate 215 and 210 Freeway interchange.
According to reports, the crash involved a white Freeway Service Patrol (FSP) tow truck and a red Nissan Maxima sedan. Moreover, the crash shut down both lanes of the freeway.
Authorities suspected that the Nissan was speeding before the collision at high speeds. Then, the Nissan lost control and collided with the back of the parked tow truck. The impact of the collision caused the Nissan to become disabled in the #1 lane and the slow lane.
When the rescue crews arrived on the scene, they requested two ambulances at the scene.
Then, responders took both drivers with minor injuries via ground ambulances to a nearby hospital.
