21 People Hospitalized in Tulare Bus Accident on Highway 99 near Avenue 260

 
TULARE, CA (August 4, 2022) – Early Wednesday morning, authorities reported injuries in a bus crash on Highway 99 near Avenue 260.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 3:00 a.m. Moreover, it occurred on Highway 99 near Avenue 260.
 
Reports revealed that a northbound Greyhound bus with 34 passengers drifted off the roadway. Then, it crashed into a chain link fence and came to rest on its side in the Horizon Nut Processor parking lot.
 
Moreover, responders transported a total of 21 patients, including children, to three different hospitals. Also, officers described their injuries as minor to moderate injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the events leading to the crash remained under investigation.
