2 Men Arrested in San Pablo Accident on Church Lane and San Pablo Avenue

 
SAN PABLO, CA (July 13, 2022) – A head-on crash on Church Lane and San Pablo Avenue last June 28 led to multiple injuries.
 
The incident happened at about 8:30 p.m. near Market Street and 23rd Street on June 28th.
 
According to reports, a deputy tried to pull over a stolen Toyota 4-Runner. Then, the car fled the traffic stop and failed to yield at a red light. Then, it crashed with a Honda Pilot on Church Lane and San Pablo Avenue.
 
According to reports, both cars’ occupants sustained injuries and required hospitalization. Also, the injured included an infant.
 
Officers revealed that the three occupants of the 4-Runner were suspects in a series of car burglaries and thefts in San Francisco. Then, one of them had a warrant on charges of robbery, grand theft, and commercial burglary.
 
On July 1, officers charged the suspect driver with three felonies related to the chase, including recklessly evading police.
 
Moreover, officers found seven laptop computers, a Louis Vuitton backpack, a Gucci backpack, and a large amount of U.S. currency and foreign money inside the 4-Runner.
