Lanes Blocked in Moreno Valley Multi-Vehicle Accident on Interstate 215 and State Route 60

MORENO VALLEY, CA (May 2, 2024) – On Sunday, an alarming wrong-way crash on Interstate 215 and State Route 60 led to injuries.

The incident started when authorities received a report about a Dodge Ram that was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of Interstate 215.

According to reports, the Dodge collided with multiple vehicles on westbound State Route 60 to southbound Interstate 215 transition road. Then, the Dodge continued traveling westbound and collided head-on with three more vehicles. Also, the driver of the Dodge fled the scene on foot after the crash.

Moreover, authorities confirmed that multiple injuries were sustained, ranging from complaints of pain to major (non-life threatening) injuries.

Furthermore, officers managed to locate and arrest the suspect on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
