MADERA COUNTY, CA (November 12, 2024) – Monday morning, an alarming multi-vehicle crash on Highway 152 and Road 17 led to minor injuries.

The incident involving multiple vehicles happened in the westbound lanes of Highway 152, west of Road 17.

Northbound Highway 99 to westbound Highway 152 was closed as law enforcement worked to clear the scene. According to CHP, over 10 vehicles were involved in the collision.

Despite the number of vehicles, only minor injuries were reported among drivers and passengers. While the cause of the crash is still under investigation, officers indicated that wet roads from recent inclement weather were likely a contributing factor.
