Motorcycle and Box Truck Collide on 405 Freeway in Inglewood Injuring the Rider
INGLEWOOD, CA (November 26, 2018) – A motorcyclist was injured following a traffic collision with a box truck Monday morning in Inglewood.
The collision happened around 8:48 a.m. on northbound 405 Freeway at West Florence Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorcycle rider collided with the box truck in the HOV lane of the freeway. Firefighters responded to the scene and located the rider sitting in the center divider with a possible injury to the knee.
A flat bed tow truck was dispatched to the scene to remove the motorcycle from the wreckage.
There were no official reports stating what caused the crash or how it exactly transpired. Authorities are looking further into the accident to determine the factors involved and liability.
