IGO, CA – One Killed in Rollover Crash at Platina Road and Duncan Creek Road

Fatal Rollover Crash on Platina Road in Igo

 
IGO, CA (May 17, 2019) – One person was killed following a rollover crash Friday night in Igo, according to the California Highway Patrol.
 
The fatal crash happened around 6:38 p.m. on Platina Road at Duncan Creek Road.
 
A large truck loader went off the roadway and struck a guardrail. It then overturned about 100 feet down embankment, where it landed on its side against a tree.
 
One occupant, believe to be the driver, was trapped underneath the truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
Further details, including the identity of the deceased, were not immediately available. An investigation is still ongoing.
