Injuries Reported in Laclede County Vehicle Crash on Highway N
LACEDE COUNTY, MO (July 30, 2024) – Friday, Icye Capuano and Paul Robinson suffered injuries in a startling auto accident on Highway N.
The incident happened when a 2013 Hyundai Elantra traveled west on Highway N.
Around 11:20 p.m., 20-year-old Capuano from Richland, and her passenger, 36-year-old Robinson from St. Charles, were involved in a serious crash. Approximately 10 miles east of Lebanon, Capuano’s car left the right side of the road, came back onto the pavement, veered off the left side and overturned.
Both Capuano and Robinson sustained serious injuries. Capuano was transported to Mercy Hospital in Lebanon by a Mercy ambulance, while Robinson was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Springfield by Mercy Life Line.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Robinson was wearing a seatbelt at the time, but it is unclear whether Capuano was.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
