Officers Arrest Noah Watson in Yorba Linda Fatal Crash
Yorba Linda, CA (December 24, 2022) – On December 16, the authorities arrested Noah Watson, 19, in a Yorba Ranch Road DUI collision that killed Hunter Shekels, 20.
Officers say Watson was driving at 100 mph when his Ford F-350 crashed into the center median and then into a eucalyptus tree south of Via Sepulveda.
Watson’s passenger, Hunter Shekels, died in the accident while he was hospitalized for his injuries.
The authorities arrested and released him after posting $100,000 bail.
Moreover, Noah Watson faces charges on vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence while intoxicated and carrying a concealed, loaded and unregistered firearm in the truck.
Investigating officers found a gun underneath Watson’s seat.
He will face a maximum sentence of more than 10 years in state prison if convicted as charged.
