Hunter Sauceda Dies in Motorcycle Crash on Shaw and Sunnyside Avenue [Clovis, CA]

Hunter Sauceda Killed in Fresno County Motorcycle Accident Near Sierra Vista Mall

Clovis, CA (September 17, 2020) – On Wednesday, 19-year-old Hunter Sauceda died in a motorcycle crash near Shaw Avenue and Sunnyside Avenue.

The fatal crash took place after 4 p.m. near Sierra Vista Mall.

Authorities believe the man was traveling eastbound on Shaw on his motorcycle when he swerved off the roadway. Then, he hit a concrete structure.

Moreover, a Jeep was also involved in the Clovis accident. The driver of the vehicle is cooperating with the investigation.

Immediately, emergency crews performed CPR on the motorcycle driver; however, Mr. Sauceda was still pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said that at this time, it seems as though Hunter hit the concrete in order to avoid hitting the Jeep.

This is the fifth fatal motorcycle accident this year for Clovis Police.

Clovis police said the eastbound lanes on Shaw Avenue would remain closed for a few hours.
