Dominic Mathias Linares Killed in Crash on 19th Avenue in Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ (October 13, 2023) – Friday morning, 18-year-old Dominic Mathias Linares died in a crash on 19th Avenue and Indian School Road.

Around 7:30 a.m., Phoenix police officers were called to an accident involving a car that had crashed into a pole near 19th Avenue and Indian School Road. When officers arrived, they found the driver of the car, 18-year-old Dominic Mathias Linares, with serious injuries.

Linares was taken to a hospital, where he later died.

According to investigators, Linares was traveling northbound on 19th Avenue when another vehicle turned left onto Indian School Road. The two cars collided, and Linares’ car was slammed into the pole.

Police say impairment is not believed to be a factor in the crash. 

An investigation into the deadly crash is ongoing.
