Horrific Wrong-Way Collision near Valley View led to Serious Injuries
Irving, TX (April 13, 2024) On Thursday morning, a wrong-way crash on Highway 183 left 2 drivers hurt and hospitalized.
According to Irving police, the wrong-way collision happened at about 4:40 a.m. in the westbound lanes of Highway 183 near the Valley View exit.
Reports say that Irving police received reports from the Fort Worth Police Department that a driver was entering the city via the westbound lane but driving eastbound.
Officials say that the wrong-way driver crashed with another driver near the Valley View exit.
Medics transported both drivers to the hospital, officials say that one of the motorists suffered critical injuries due to the collision.
Authorities are investigating the wrong-way collision and have not released further information at this time.
