1 Person Dead in Fresno Auto Accident on Dickenson Avenue and Barstow Avenue

FRESNO, CA (March 6, 2024) – Tuesday morning, a horrific vehicle crash on Dickenson Avenue and Barstow Avenue killed one person.

The incident happened at around 11:00 a.m. at the intersection of Dickenson Avenue and Barstow Avenue.

According to reports, a southbound Hyundai Sonata ran a stop sign and collided with a westbound GMC Sierra pickup.

Moreover, responders pronounced the 76-year-old female driver of the Hyundai, dead at the scene. Then paramedics transported the 45-year-old male driver of the GMC, to CRMC with minor injuries.

Furthermore, authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
