MESA, AZ (June 25, 2023) – Friday morning, a horrific vehicle crash near Alma School Road and Pampa Avenue killed 2 people.

The incident happened near Alma School Road and Pampa Avenue.

According to reports, a vehicle veered into oncoming traffic, struck a curb, and crashed into a pole, north of Elliot Road.

As a result, the vehicle’s passenger succumbed to injuries at the scene. Meanwhile, responders transported the driver to a nearby hospital but later succumbed to injuries.

Also, the authorities shut down Alma School Road in both directions between Pecos Avenue and Elliot Road as police investigate what led up to the crash.
