2 People Dead in San Diego Traffic Accident on S Woodman Street near Jamie Avenue

SAN DIEGO, CA (August 3, 2023) – Tuesday night, a horrific two-vehicle crash on S Woodman Street near Jamie Avenue killed two people.

The incident happened at around 9:24 p.m. on S Woodman Street near Jamie Avenue.

According to the San Diego Police Department, a northbound 2006 Kia Sedona attempted to make a westbound turn, failed to yield the right of way, and collided with a southbound 2007 Honda Civic.

Then, the force of the crash ejected the rear passenger of the Honda Civic onto the roadway.

Moreover, responders pronounced the ejected passenger, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported another rear passenger of the Honda to a hospital with non-survivable injuries. Also, officers confirmed that other occupants of the vehicles sustained minor injuries in the crash.

At this time, the circumstances involved in the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
