1 Person Dead in Dublin Auto Accident on Interstate 580 near Eden Canyon Road

DUBLIN, CA (August 31, 2023) – Sunday morning, a horrific two-vehicle crash on Interstate 580 near Eden Canyon Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 2:35 a.m. on westbound Interstate 580, east of Eden Canyon Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a white 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer veered onto the shoulder lane and collided with a 2021 Ford E-Transit van. Also, the Trailblazer struck the van’s driver who was standing outside the vehicle.

Moreover, responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
