1 Person Dead in Turlock Auto Accident near Harding Avenue and Golf Road

TURLOCK, CA (August 11, 2024) – Friday night, a horrific two-vehicle crash near Harding Avenue and Golf Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 10:45 a.m. near the intersection of Harding Avenue and Golf Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a southbound 2013 Chevrolet collided with an eastbound 2001 Honda that failed to yield the right of way. Then, the force of the crash pushed both vehicles southbound before they came to rest near the intersection.

Moreover, responders pronounced the driver of the Honda, dead at the scene. Also, the 19-year-old driver of the Chevrolet sustained no injuries in the collision.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
