Horrific Truck Accident on 210 Freeway and State Route 210 Kills 1 [San Bernardino, CA]

1 Dead in San Bernardino Vehicle Crash on 210 Freeway and State Route 210

SAN BERNARDINO, CA (May 9, 2024) – Wednesday afternoon, a horrific truck accident on 210 Freeway and State Route 210 killed 1 person.

The crash occurred just before 1:45 p.m. when a Nissan Versa drove south on the 215 Freeway, at the State Route 210 junction at an unknown rate of speed.

Meanwhile, a Freightliner Box Truck was driving behind them, police said. 

“For reasons still under investigation the Versa came to a sudden stop,” the statement said. “Subsequently, the Freightliner traveling behind the Versa, collided with the Versa.”

The crash forced the car into the guardrail.

Then, paramedics pronounced the driver of the Versa, an unidentified female, deceased at the scene. 

Another female passenger sustained major injuries and was promptly transported to a nearby hospital.
