1 Dead in Fresno Auto Accident on McKinley Avenue and Golden State Boulevard

FRESNO, CA (February 19, 2024) – Sunday morning, a horrific traffic crash on McKinley Avenue and Golden State Boulevard killed 1 person.

The incident occurred just before 4:00 a.m. on McKinley Avenue and Golden State Boulevard.

When the authorities arrived at the scene, they located a single vehicle with four occupants inside, off the road.

Reports said that the vehicle was driving east on McKinley Avenue, crossing Golden State Boulevard while speeding. Then, the driver lost control which caused the vehicle to slide over some railroad tracks and hit a telephone pole.

Then, the vehicle went on and then crashed into a tree.

As a result, a 17-year-old rear passenger succumbed to injuries at the scene. Meanwhile, three other passengers suffered various injuries.

Moreover, the authorities haven’t determined if weather conditions contributed to the crash, or if drugs or alcohol played a role.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
